Was pretty darn good. I always liked Bo Jackson. Finest athlete I've ever seen.

I loved how he said an Alabama recruiter came in and told him if he came to Alabama, he wouldn't play until the end of his sophomore season or even his junior year. He then committed to Pat Dye and Auburn.

I had no idea the NYY and Stenibrenner had him on the radar.

I loved it.. One of the best ones I've seen.

Breaks bat on thigh and doesn't even trip.. How is that possible?

Also he didn't even lift weights.

I just wish I could've seen more of him. I loved what I saw but damn, we wanted more.

I'll check it out. Have yet to see a 30 for 30 that I didn't like.

My favorite 30/30 yet! I admired Bo growing up. Still have the poster and the Fleer card with him wearing the the shoulder pads with the baseball bat over his shoulders.

there will never be another Bo Jackson. Vincent would've been the greatest ever without the hip injury, and still is one of the best ever anyways. The dude is just a pure man with pure athletic ability.

without a doubt, one of the most overrated athletes of my generation. he was not a very good baseball player at all. One of the first players to succeed because of a great pr machine.

I'd say the only athlete that comes close is Neon. Nick, the guy is the only man in history to go to an All Star game and Pro Bowl. That says a lot.

Ole Neon Deion Sanders?! Arguably the best Cover Corner ever to play the game. One of the few, if not only, that could literally cover the whole field. Sure, he was scared to hit people, but he didn't have to. And Vincent was 50 lbs heavier and .10 to .15 faster in the 40 yard dash. Amazing athletes these guys were.

Bo barely missed the 30-30 Club 2 years in a row, but I guess mentioning Jose Canseco's name wouldn't help any.

george brett said it best : "when bo was about to come up , you watched" .. same thing when the raiders had the ball.. you didnt want to miss something..

brett was also quoted in the past saying : "bo struck out one time and broke the bat over his helmet , who does that ? you dont practice that "

I caught that as well. I told my son that you don't just hear a HOF player say he didn't go to the bathroom because a certain player was coming up to bat.

Jackson got voted in by the fans I believe which says he was popular not that he was good.

It's still fun watching BJ blow up Brian Bosworth on the goaline. But it wasn't quite as bad as I remembered it. You can see Adrian Peterson do that every week to some pretty good LB's. It's not easy stopping any of these big backs when they are coming at you with a full head of steam.

You know what? I thought the same thing. I remember it being a lot worse than it was. He definitely hit him good but Bosworth did take him down but damn, Jackson was a huge RB.

He was voted the MVP of that game.

Ended that year hitting .256, 32 HRs and 105 RBIs.

he was also having a pretty good year up to the all star game. 21 hr's i think.. he deserved to be on the team.
